Giovanni Monroig

Giovanni Monroig, MSW, MA, Esq., is a Veterans Law Attorney based in Puerto Rico whose practice focuses on VA disability claims, benefits appeals, and selected military administrative matters. He is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Before building his current practice, Giovanni worked in veterans advocacy and related legal and administrative roles, including experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Disabled American Veterans, private veterans law practice, and veterans-serving institutions. His work has included claims and appeals involving service connection, toxic exposure, rating increases, special monthly compensation, TDIU, CUE, and earlier effective date issues.
In addition to his legal training, Giovanni Monroig holds graduate training in social work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. That background informs a thoughtful and client-centered approach to representation, particularly in matters where disability, records, and lived experience intersect.
